It all begins with one seed.

Hi, I’m Ellie! I believe that growing food right where you live—and making it truly beautiful—can transform not just your physical health, but even more so, your mental well-being. Gardening is a blend of play and peace, grounding us in the natural rhythm of the seasons. It’s a way to nourish you and your community, one harvest at a time.

My love for gardening took root in 2012 with my own small but thriving city garden in St. Louis. After a long day in the office, there was something magical about putting my hands in the dirt, harvesting, and cooking food we had grown ourselves. When we returned to Michigan in 2017, our garden—and our family—grew. Now, I see that same spark of joy in my three children as they nurture their own seeds and plants.

I've learned that gardening isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you dream of a backyard full of raised beds or just a few pots on your patio, I believe anyone, at any age, can grow something meaningful. With a little guidance and the right setup, you’ll be amazed at what flourishes.

Let’s dig in and get growing—together.
